Neil Newman Appointed As Director Of Development And Innovation

Professional membership body, the Institute of Paralegals (IoP) announces the appointment of Neil Newman as Director of Development and Innovation. 

Neil becomes a key member of the IoP’s Executive Management team and is responsible for the global growth and development ensuring the Institute continues to connect effectively with the profession.

Most recently, he was Director of Communications and Membership at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and was responsible for the successful implementation of CIArb’s segmentation strategy allowing the Institute to grow and expand its offering to a wider international audience.

Prior to this he worked at the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) for over ten years and has expertise in a wide range of areas, including organisational development, learning and development and innovation management.

Speaking about his appointment, Neil Newman said:

“The IOP’s purpose is hugely motivating and I am delighted to be appointed as Director of Development and Innovation.  Paralegals have an essential role within the legal profession I look forward to working with everyone who has an interest in our work to grow and further develop the IOP.
