SLC announces programme of events for 2013

The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) has announced its programme of events for 2013, to include its popular annual conference, along with a suite of regional road shows, which will run across the year and will offer access to topical presentations and valuable CPD points.
As part of a member survey, which looked for feedback on its annual conference, the SLC sought to explore member preferences across a number of areas to include venue location, time of year and preferred week day/weekend timings for its future events.
Following the consultation with members, the SLC has today announced that its next annual conference will take place on 20th November in Derby, further details will be available on its website soon. What’s more, the SLC has also announced the dates and locations for its next series of regional road shows, which will take place this spring.
Simon Law, Chairman of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) said: “A core element of our membership package at the SLC is our commitment to provide members with the opportunity to secure all of their required, annual CPD points free through our programme of events and training sessions. It’s important to us that we are regularly engaging with our members to ensure the events we deliver are directly meeting their needs and we are delighted to now be able to announce the dates of both our conference and our next series of regional road shows.”
The road shows provide both SLC members and non-members with an opportunity to access a morning or afternoon session that will provide information and updates on key areas impacting the profession, along with the opportunity to secure four CPD points.
The dates and the locations for the SLC’s spring road shows:
  • Tuesday 16th April – Mercure Hotel, Leicester (14.00 — 18:00)
