Search Acumen appoints Zoe Dobson as Client Relationship Manager
- Recruitment will help to maintain service commitment as the business continues to grow
Search Acumen has strengthened its team of experienced industry professionals by appointing Zoe Dobson as Client Relationship Manager. Zoe joins the conveyancing search provider from Wessex Searches and increases the size of its Client Relationship Management team to four as Search Acumen continues its rapid growth.
Zoe has a wealth of industry experience having worked closely with stakeholders, clients and search providers during eight years at Wessex Searches. Her responsibilities encompassed a variety of areas including search administration, customer relations, business development and search management: meaning that she brings a high level of relevant skills and expertise to Search Acumen.
She was also responsible for identifying and delivering enhancements to processes and systems: a pursuit which is vital to Search Acumen’s IntelliSearch approach. This aims to deliver a ‘step change’ in conveyancing searches and provide better products and services for conveyancers by re-imagining and re-engineering the industry status quo.
Prior to joining Wessex Searches, Zoe played a key role in setting up the Drainage and Water Searches Network (DWSN), where she served as a director and worked with colleagues and members to ensure the drainage and water search (CON29DW) is of a high standard.
Her appointment comes at a time when Search Acumen remains on course to achieve a 5% share of the conveyancing search market in time for its second anniversary in October. Mid-year trading data shows that Search Acumen’s market share leapt to 4% in the six months from October 2014 to March 2015, having stood at 2.5% at the end of its first year in business.
The business has maintained its service focus during this period, with just 0.1% of customer service cases resulting from clients calling up to chase an overdue search order (compared to an industry norm of 5-7%). Zoe’s appointment will help to maintain this proactive approach as customer numbers and order volumes continue to grow.
