London Legal Walk 2016

London Legal Walk 2016

On the 16 May a team from Thames Water Property Searches’ took to the streets of London and joined around 10,000 participants made up of members of the legal profession, business associates and family and friends, to take part in the London Legal Walk.

The 10km walk was around some on London’s legal landmarks beginning from Carey Street, behind the Royal Courts of Justice, up to the parks as far as the Serpentine Bridge and back again. The end of the walk was celebrated with a street party and was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for everyone.

As well as having a lovely evening, taking part meant that we raised much needed funds to support free legal advice charities in London and the South East. With recent cuts in legal aid, this funding is essential to continue the support the most vulnerable of people.

Jason Harper, Account manager at Thames Water Property Searches said: “It was great to see so many of the legal sector supporting what is a great cause. We are proud to have taken part in the event.”
