Legal Eye are pleased to introduce specialist GDPR consultant Marcus Allen.

With his specialisms including the General Data Protection Regulation and ISO27001, Marcus further strengthens Legal Eye’s outsourced compliance offering, with his expertise being a key addition to the team’s growing wealth of knowledge and skills.

After obtaining a master’s degree in management learning and change from a leading research university, Marcus went on to develop his awareness of risk and compliance, applying this to businesses on a practical level.

Staying ahead of the curve, his commitment to ensuring his knowledge is up to date is reflected in his recent successful completion of the British Computer Science Foundation course in Data Protection 2018. He has since moved on to the Practitioner Level, which will see him complete two further exams later this year.

In the two decades he has spent assisting businesses to enhance their existing processes, Marcus has worked with 140 organisations, with a view to improving both understanding and application of complex risk and compliance frameworks.

Commenting on the importance of the consulting role which Marcus provides to Legal Eye, Managing Director Paul Saunders said: “Marcus is a great addition to our growing team, he has a wealth of experience and brings industry expertise from multiple sources.”
