Lawyer Checker nominated for national innovation award

Lawyer Checker is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for an award at the esteemed Eclipse Modern Law Conveyancing Awards.

As a key provider of risk management tools, we are running for the Innovation of the Year category following the recent launch of our brand new OnDMARC service, enabling professionals to effectively safeguard their email against cyber threats.

OnDMARC is a web-based service, powered Red Sift, and enables a firm to effectively implement the email authentication protocol DMARC, or Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance. Building on SPF and DKIM protocols, DMARC provides a safeguard which enables senders to prevent fraudulent emails which use their domain.

After providing firms with step-by-step guidance on how to implement their email security profile using DMARC, OnDMARC provides firms with an insight into their email security as well as clear actions to take to improve risk prevention.

The Modern Law Conveyancing Awards are well known for celebrating success and achievement throughout the conveyancing industry, so we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Innovation of the Year category, especially given the pace at which the sector is progressing.

Commenting on the nomination was North of England Development Executive at Lawyer Checker, Tom Lyes. He said: ‘We’re delighted to have been nominated for an award at such a prestigious event; being shortlisted alongside some prominent players in the conveyancing sector is an achievement in itself. The launch of OnDMARC comes at a pivotal time for the industry. Not only is fraud becoming more sophisticated but the scale at which fraudsters are operating continues to grow. The wide-scale implementation of a service such as OnDMARC is a simple solution for firms who want to enhance their risk prevention strategy and enhance protection for both business and client accounts.’
