The next UKLTA online forum focussing on information security and privacy takes place on Thursday 16th July at 5pm.

Four months on from the initial coronavirus lockdown, many firms have now adapted to new ways of working. For many firms, changes to working practices were brought about swiftly.

In this session our panellists will review new and emerging threats that law firms are encountering, and consider strategies to mitigate the risks. The session will provide practical advice you can implement at your own firm to bolster your own cyber defences, as well as an introduction to technologies that can assist in this area.

Chaired by Heather Anson of Anson Evaluate, our panel will feature:

  • Peter Wright, MD – Digital Law UK
Lisa Ventura, CEO and Founder – UK Cyber Security Association
Jen Williams, Head of IT & Security – Practical Vision Network
David Baskerville, Director – Baskerville Drummond

Matt Pennington, UKLTA Chair said:

“Our Information Security Review forum is a must for firms who are now coming out of the other side of the lockdown. Whilst many firms have simply been in survival mode these past few months, our webinar will help firms think about the medium and longer term implications of new ways of working and the risks to information security that come with them.”

The Information Security Review forum takes place on Thursday 16th July at 5-6pm and you can find out more information on the UKLTA website.
