Groundsure launches new Homebuyers Report

Groundsure have relaunched their flagship residential property report – Homebuyers – the definitive report covering contaminated land, flood risk and ground stability. This new look report delivers all the key information on the front page showing identified risks within the vicinity of the property.

Homebuyers also now features key information including proposed flood defence data to give an indication of where flood defences are to be built in the future – reducing the overall flood risk to an area; a statement on the possibility of the property being ceded into the new Flood Re – if eligible and an enhanced energy alert.

This new alert will detail specific energy infrastructure within set categories on the front of the report as well as being housed in its own section. It specifies if the property falls within 5km of existing or proposed oil and gas sites including fracking, existing or proposed wind and solar farms, existing or proposed power stations including nuclear sites and major energy infrastructure projects.

Emma Watkins, Customer and Marketing Director at Groundsure said: “We are rolling out a number of key changes and information updates across our reports to provide clearer information to our customers.”

Watkins added: “These changes are in response to customer feedback that requested more simplicity in our reports, we have listened and made the changes to feature essential information on the front page, this coupled with adding new datasets will ensure our clients have all the information ahead of purchase.”
