Groundsure awarded Legal Eye Quality Standard

Groundsure have been awarded the Legal Eye standard for the second year running.

Legal Eye provides best practice, risk management and compliance services to the legal market. They work with Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and providers of legal information services, the quality standard is the first assessment scheme to address rules and regulations above traditional quality standards. These include the Bribery Act, the Equality Act, E-commerce Directive and many more.

The quality standard is undertaken by a thorough assessment of health checks, audit trails and file reviews.

Jaunita Gobby, Managing Director at Legal Eye said: “We are pleased to announce that Groundsure Ltd have again successfully achieved the Legal Eye Quality Standard in 2015. Groundsure are very proactive about their best practice and risk management, and their substantially documented processes and procedures were of a very high standard. A particular credit to the business is their Data Governance Council. It has been a pleasure to audit such a well organised and structured business.”

Groundsure’s Data Governance Council is responsible for data quality control and best practice for new and existing data sets. The Data Council meetings are run by internal data stakeholders and chaired by Chris Gobby, an external data and insight specialist from Alvarez and Marsal, who was appointed external Chairperson of Groundsure’s Data Governance Council in 2015. He said, “Groundsure has really adopted the ethos of data quality throughout their business. Groundsure continually challenge, develop and evolve their approach to maintain high data quality.”

Dan Montagnani, Managing Director of Groundsure added: “It is really pleasing to be awarded the Legal Eye Quality Standard for the second successive year. As a business we are always striving for the highest quality standards. Being recognised as achieving this in the same way as our conveyancing / legal practice customers hopefully is a clear and tangible measure of that achievement.”
