ETSOS on the case with integration: Cognito FiLOS

Conveyancing technology specialist ETSOS is set to collaborate more closely with case management suppliers in a bid to increase system integration within conveyancing departments.

A survey conducted by ETSOS revealed that only 27% of respondents using a case management system (CMS) had their search provider(s) integrated within that system. But with 94% of those reporting improved efficiencies as a result of such integration, it would seem to be a quick win for those seeking extra productivity and service gains.

“The technical hard work has been done,” explains ETSOS’s Phil Natusch. “ETSOS now integrates with a number of case management systems but it’s still down to individual firms to decide if they want to bring them together. With the help of our supplier partners, we want to ensure that conveyancers understand just how easy it is to work with one seamless system and how much advantage it can deliver to users day-to-day.”

Having recently completed the back-end integration, ETSOS will now be teaming up with latest case partner Cognito in a joint campaign to highlight the benefits to clients.

Phil Natusch continues: “Cognito users now have the potential to access the ETSOS platform without needing to login and enter the property address details as these are pulled directly from the case management system. That’s a whole new layer of efficiency and time-saving right there, and it also generates a clear audit trail, which is a key compliance requirement. We’ve always had this philosophy of doing things to make our users’ lives easier and now, with the technology in place, it’s time to get the message home.”

ETSOS provides a complete range of residential and commercial conveyancing searches, title insurance and AML reports all from a single online portal.

Roger Jackson, Managing Director for Cognito adds “Cognito is continually adding new layers of functionality to our FiLOS software and this integration with ETSOS is one of these layers. The really exciting part is that this is an instant, low cost, big gain benefit to our clients using Case Management and ETSOS.”
