Equity release service gains new member

A national equity release advice service has now boosted its expertise with the addition of a new firm.

Specialising in a range of legal practice areas, Gilroy Steel is the latest firm to join Equishield, enhancing the knowledge and experience of the advisory equity release service.

With offices in Brackley, Buckingham and Northampton, Gilroy Steel provide professional legal advice on a nationwide basis, covering a range of specialisms including conveyancing, wills and probate and equity release.

As well as being a fully accredited member of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, the experience of Managing Director Kelly-Jayne Steel provides the firm with a solid foundation in the equity release and property market in general. Having worked for over 15 years in property law and specialising in the growing market, Kelly-Jayne has been the company’s driving force through commitment and dedication to providing clients with a first-class service.

Having changed significantly since it was initially introduced, equity release has become an effective way for many to boost income, increasing the need for professional guidance. Given the recent and ongoing growth of equity release in the UK, it has become widely recognised that consumers are in need of advice at the highest level, and more importantly, access to it. This is the main priority of Equishield; given that many solicitors do not handle equity release cases, the group strive to provide consumers with impartial advice based on their years of knowledge and expertise.

Commenting on becoming a member of Equishield, Kelly-Jayne stated: At Gilroy Steel we have a professional and dedicated team who are efficient and pro-active and we are prepared to go that extra mile for our clients in order to get the job done.

A joint project between several regional law firms, Equishield provide professional legal advice on equity release mortgages across England and Wales. Any equity release lenders or mortgage brokers who would like further details should visit their website.
