Conveyancers in the spotlight for Customer Service in 2nd annual ESTAS

After last month’s record breaking ESTAS Estate Agent Awards it’s the turn of conveyancing firms to be in the spotlight at The ESTAS Conveyancer Awards. The national customer service awards recognise property professionals delivering excellent standards of service. Entries

The ESTAS feedback platform enables firms to send out a service review invite via email or text asking clients to rate the customer service they received during the conveyancing process.  The ratings and feedback are sent back confidentially to each firm enabling them to track and benchmark their service performance.  The feedback data also allows The ESTAS to shortlist the best firms regionally and nationally culminating in the prestigious ESTAS Awards which take place in October each year.

A well thought through customer service strategy is vital for any conveyancing firm and customer reviews are becoming increasingly important in the consumer decision making process. It’s therefore essential that firms learn how to generate genuine customer reviews and how to use them in their marketing.

As Simon Brown Founder of the ESTAS Group explains “Because the ESTAS feedback platform is ‘closed’, that’s to say only genuine customers are asked for feedback, it ensures a firm’s reputation is not exposed in the public domain. All the data we generate is confidential to each firm and they can pick and choose what feedback they use in their marketing campaigns.

Our platform gives firm’s direct access to their own social media channels enabling them to create positive ’service’ themed content very easily. The platform is also fully GDPR compliant.”

“We now work with estate & letting agents, mortgage advisors and conveyancers so The ESTAS provides a kite mark for excellent service for any property professional involved in the house moving process. Of course the other major benefit is that firms are automatically entered into our annual ESTAS Awards which highlights the best firms across the UK for customer service.  For the winners there’s no more powerful marketing tool than being hailed the best based on client feedback alone.”

Conveyancers of all shapes and sizes can take part in the awards. There are categories for single office solicitors, for local or regional firms with multiple branches and firms with national coverage and e-conveyancing specialists.  The ESTAS also has a category that recognises individual members of staff known as The People Awards.

The venue is the spectacular ballroom in one of the capital’s most prestigious hotels, the Grosvenor House on Park Lane, which also hosts The BAFTAS.  The black-tie event will once again be hosted by TV property expert and ESTAS brand ambassador Phil Spencer who will announce the winners in front of 400 of the UK’s top conveyancers.

Spencer said “The ESTAS isn’t just an awards event or a customer feedback programme, it’s a state of mind, a philosophy that many firms believe in because customer service is at the heart of their business. Just taking part in the ESTAS sets firms apart from their competitors, the awards help firms to focus on service levels and raise standards across the property sector that we all work in.”

Since their launch last year The ESTAS Conveyancer Awards have gained rapid support in the sector. They are endorsed by The Conveyancing Association and The Society of Licensed Conveyancers. Headline sponsors are SearchFlow along with sister companies Landmark Information and Ochresoft. A number of ESTAS partners have also been recently announced including Bold Legal Group, Howden, Lawyer Checker, Legal Eye, Safe Move, Solve Legal Marketing and ULS.
