Your Conveyancer achieves Legal Eye Quality Standard

One of Scotland’s largest conveyancing firms has achieved the Legal Eye Quality Standard (LEQS).

Your Conveyancer has achieved the accreditation, which is awarded by risk and advisory business Legal Eye, as a result of its dedication to embedding robust systems and training across the firm in order to drive excellent customer service.

The LEQS is awarded to firms who have demonstrated compliance with regulatory codes and guidance but also with a plethora of legislation including the E-Commerce Directive, the Bribery Act 2010, the Equality Act 2010, Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR, publicity and treating customers fairly.

Helen Glaze, Head of Risk, Compliance and Best Practice, at Legal Eye says “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the Your Conveyancer team on a number of projects over the last twelve months or so. Your Conveyancer recognises the importance of compliance and understands that having the right systems and processes in place is key to the success of its business and providing high standards of care for its clients

“In working with Your Conveyancer we were particularly impressed by the culture of compliance that exists across the firm. Staff are fully engaged with all of the critical issues via an extensive training programme and management make sure that everyone understands the benefits of working to its chosen quality standards.”

Steven Lilly, IT, Training and Compliance Director at Your Conveyancer said: “Quality and compliance has always been important to the firm and is crucial to our planned future growth. The firm has reached a stage in our development where we have a range of quality standards including IS09001, ISO20001 and ISO27001 alongside Lexcel, which we have also just successfully renewed.

“The Legal Eye team – in particular, Helen Glaze, Nimesh Ganatra and Jody Evans– have really helped us to embed compliance as a culture across the firm. Achieving the LEQS standard brings everything together and we are very proud that Legal Eye have recognised Your Conveyancer by awarding us the accreditation.”
