CLS expand to a new Kent base

CLS, leading provider of data and insurance to both the UK and European residential and commercial property markets has today announced the relocation of their existing Kent-based operations to new, larger premises capable of housing its data and technology teams alongside existing underwriting operations.

Since inception, CLS has grown from strength to strength, growing products, services and staff members by 50%, with the continuous aim to deliver the best products and service to their growing client base. The new office space has allowed CLS to overhaul the Legal Indemnity operation to ensure that the valuable conveyancing product meets the demands of today’s conveyancers. In addition, the expanded specialist underwriting team located in Kent will be able to respond to the increased volumes of enquiries and provide the levels of service necessary to support the pace of conveyancing in the 21st Century.

Jean Claude-Domaingue, Underwriting Director, comments;

“We have long recognised that the Legal Indemnity is just one of many types of product necessary to enable the purchase and funding of property. Our business provides a wide range of insurance and data products, which support the property sector, from rights of light insurance, environmental liability insurance to warranty and indemnity insurance and structural indemnities and we recognise that clients and their requirements differ from product to product.

By giving our Legal Indemnity products a clear definition and the space to operate in, we believe this will help us to meet conveyancer’s requirements for a cost-effective product with exceptional customer service. Our London office will continue to provide our other insurance products, principally rights of light insurance, environmental liability insurance, warranty and indemnity insurance and structural indemnities, to clients in the UK and throughout Europe, calling on our tested methods of combining due diligence and risk management strategies in order to transfer risk away from development and investment projects.”

With over 40 residential and commercial Legal Indemnity policies available instantly online and a partner to over 50 resellers in the searches and insurance market, CLS are in a very strong position to make 2018 a record-breaking year.
