Who were the leading conveyancing firms at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2014?

Last week’s Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2014 event was a great success and saw a whole scope of property professionals come together to celebrate this year’s achievements within the industry.

South Wales conveyancing specialists, Convey Law, scooped the one of the top within the sector of Best Overall UK Conveyancing provider, as well as receiving the Gold Award for Best Large Conveyancer of the Year.

Convey Law were said to stand out from the other contestants and are well-known for providing outstanding customer service. Not only does every client receive a bespoke welcome pack complete with a customer satisfaction survey, each is assigned a dedicated case manager who will keep them informed throughout the process.

Lloyd Davies, Managing Director, stated: "We are over the moon to have been recognised at the Times and Sunday Times awards as the best conveyancing company in the country. The awards are testament to the uncompromising dedication and hard work of every member of staff. We started this journey ten years ago, with the objective of becoming a great conveyancing company as perceived by others. Well done to everyone at Convey Law on this wonderful achievement."

Other conveyancing front-runners included Advantage Property Lawyers (APL) who were awarded the Silver Award for Best Large Conveyancer of the Year. APL are also said to provide exemplary customer service and have been recognised for their first class CRM system.

The Bronze Award was presented to Beaumont Legal, conveyancing experts based in West Yorkshire. This firm was heralded as having one of the best training programmes in the sector and have invested heavily into high quality training for its employees.

Tony Piccirillo of conveyancing firm, A V Rillo received the individual award for Best Conveyancer 2014. Having been an estate agent earlier in his career, Tony is deemed an expert in all aspects of the home moving process and has gained some high profile clients during his time as a conveyancer.

A V Rillo also scooped the Silver Award for Best Small Conveyancer of the Year, with Thomas Legal Group gaining the Bronze Award. The ultimate prize for Best Small Conveyancer went to Smart Legal, who were delighted to have won the Gold Award.

Rezaul Haque, Managing Director at Smart Legal commented, "The secret is to focus on those things that could make a positive difference to clients, estate agents, mortgage advisors and lenders. Usually these are very simple to change and have a huge positive impact on the business."
