Welsh Conveyancer completes mammoth expedition in aid of Cancer Research UK

Convey Law’s Geraint Aubrey has completed his Alpine three peak challenge but still needs a little help in raising the final figure to achieve his £10,000 fund raising target.

Geraint first discussed undertaking a fundraising activity with his employers at Convey Law over twelve months ago, and sharing Geraint’s drive to raise money for Cancer Research UK, the Newport based property lawyers agreed to support and sponsor Geraint’s fundraising expedition.

Upon his return, Geraint summarised what he had gone through:

“On day 1, I climbed Monch which is 4107m and returned to base camp at Monchshutte for the night. On day 2, I traversed the Ewigschneefeld Glacier to get to the base of Gross Fiescherhorn. From there we climbed to the summit of Gross Fiescherhorn at 4048 metres. On day 3 we attempted Jungfrau. After 3 hours of climbing we reached the Rottalsattel at 3900m.

“The whole experience has been fantastic and it has been great to raise so much money for this wonderful charity. Thank you to everyone who has or will make a donation. I am looking forward to next year’s expedition.”

Donations are still being accepted and anyone can donate through the following link: www.justgiving.com/Geraint-Aubrey
