Strong 2012 for myhomemove

Leading conveyancer myhomemove has announced 2012 was its strongest year to date, with transactions up 13.5% from 2011.

myhomemove hope to continue this success over the next few years and treble their transaction volumes in the next three years.

The company completed 29,513 transactions last year whilst seeing an EBITDA increase of 41% from 2011.

Employee levels also increased 20% over the last year. The company puts its successful year down to investments in new technology and operational efficiency as well as the launch of the Government’s Funding for Lending and NewBuy schemes.

Doug Crawford, CEO,myhomemove said: “These results reflect the hard work and dedication of everyone at myhomemove.

“Whilst 2012 ended on a high, with house prices up by 3.4%, it was still a tough twelve months for those working in the sector.

“It was our ability to respond to the changing market, due to our early investment in our staff, new technology and customer service practices which led to our success.”

Mr Crawford said that the company had laid the foundation for the next phase of their expansion but that they could continue to diversify their services and investing in staff in order to continue growing.
