Search Provider conference announced

The Council of Property Search Organisation (CoPSO) has announced its first annual conference will be held on Thursday 29th November 2012.

The conference will be held at the Pullman Hotel in London and aims to provide members of the search industry with a series of topical presentations on key issues.

Presenters at the conference will include representatives from the Property Codes Compliance Board (PCCB), who will provide an update on the latest developments in relation to the Search Code and compliance, along with the Land Registry, who will brief delegates on the current proposals around Local Land Charges.

The event will commence at 2pm and will finish at 5pm, followed by a dinner that evening.

Chairman of CoPSO, James Sherwood-Rogers, who will be hosting the event said: “For our members, this event provides a series of valuable updates on some of the current issues impacting on our profession.

“This is the first of what we expect to become an annual conference and a key opportunity for the search industry to come together and debate the issues and concerns of the day. “

The conference is exclusively for CoPSO members and is free of charge for all CoPSO Executive, Associate and Affiliate members, with a maximum number of two delegates per company.

Additional places can be booked at £100 each. Any non-members wishing to attend can do so, if they opt to join CoPSO either prior to or at the conference.
