Peppermint Platform takes Client interaction to the next level.

Peppermint Technology, the legal technology innovator, has a new offering for firms that want to enhance their client offering.
The ‘Collaboration Suite’ is a “fully collaborative communication tool” and, as a key part of the Peppermint idea to combine applications, content, collaboration tools and transactions in one Platform, aims to enhance client experience, reduce costs and increase the effectiveness of fee earners.
The suite, which will work natively with all of the applications and content within the Legal Service Platform will enable fee earners and support staff to work together, in real time, with colleagues, business partners and clients, regardless of the location.  This removes the need to email documents for approval or amendment.
Trusted parties can also be granted temporary control of a user’s mouse and keyboard, in a controlled environment, which enables direct changes or amendments to be made to documents.
When combined with the Peppermint Portal a ‘deal room’ environment can be created which allows corporate clients access to share and work on documents with the fee earner.  The Platform also allows for an immediate meeting environment for those times when meetings need to happen quickly.
Peppermint CEO, Arlene Adams, commented:
“By bringing together collaboration, applications and content in one Platform legal providers can establish new communication channels and services to clients and expand their routes to market. This is a great demonstration of how modern technology, and specifically a business platform, can enable performance and competitive advantage”.
Peppermint believe that these collaboration tools have the potential to change how you deal with your clients in the future and the benefits can be easily seen. Staff are able to work anywhere, whether that be from home or in any office, enjoying the same experience as if they were in their own office.
Firms will no longer be geographically restricted and can extend business development activities.  Costly training sessions can also be reduced by giving staff instant access to the entire firm’s knowledge pool.
