Overall Conveyancing Firm of the Year – two years’ later

Two years after myhomemove were awarded the Overall Conveyancing Firm of the Year, as well as winning Direct Conveyancer Firm at the Law Firm Services (LFS) Awards, they tell us the lasting effect this has had on business, and where the firm is heading in coming months.

At myhomemove we are revolutionising the customer experience of conveyancing to make the process as smart as possible. By placing the customer at the heart of our business, investing in new technologies and delivering technically accurate conveyancing, we are able to ensure tens of thousands of people a year can buy and sell their properties more quickly and easy than ever before.

With the appointment of Doug Crawford as CEO, we began a new chapter in our history. We embarked on our most ambitious period of growth to date – aiming to rapidly grow our business to complete 100,000 mover transactions a year by 2017. We were delighted to win the awards for ‘Best Direct Conveyancer’ and ‘Overall Conveyancing Firm’ in 2013, in our first year of entering the Law Firm Services (LFS) Awards, showcasing our commitment to our customers and myhomemove’s determination to continuously innovative.

Winning these awards enabled us to introduce our services to new clients by cementing myhomemove’s position as the UK’s leading provider of mover conveyancing. Since 2013 we have created hundreds of new partnerships with introducers, enabled over 90,000 people to realise their dream of moving home and continued to provide an innovative and technology-driven conveyancing service, which is on average three weeks quicker than the industry average.

Alongside these achievements we opened a major new office in Manchester; employed an additional 144 legal professionals, won a further ten industry awards and launched our own SRA and CLC accredited Learning & Development Academy, which provides the very best conveyancing training to our staff.

We are continuously striving to exceed our clients’ expectations by investing in the people we employ and the service we provide. As part of our pioneering vision we have developed a new online service which will provide even greater clarity and control over the conveyancing process to our home movers. Set to launch towards the end of 2015, our enhanced eWay service will bring the best in smart technology and practices into conveyancing, helping to demystify and revolutionise the way people buy and sell property.
