New Head of Legal Practice appointed at modern property law firm

A technology driven law firm is pleased to have appointed a new Head of Legal Practice.

As part of their ongoing expansion, WYM Legal has brought in Rob Mckellar to head their Conveyancing Team, with an aim to refine the direction of their legal operations.

Starting at the Bar in 2009, Rob’s legal experience spans a range of sectors, including both criminal and public law. He went on to specialise in conveyancing in 2010, building his knowledge of the industry and furthering his experience of playing an active part in the home moving process.

It was this expertise which enabled him to progress to higher management roles, requiring him to implement strategic policies and ensure that legal services delivered to customers were of the highest standard.

Rob’s career at WYM Legal began in October 2017, where his industry expertise saw him take responsibility for a series of conveyancing teams in line with their modern and technology focussed approach.

For WYM Legal, technology is seen as an opportunity and something to be harnessed in order to improve the process for all involved. Having recognised the potential benefits that it could bring to clients, the firm is keen to bring the industry along with them, whilst at the same time focussing on expanding their own client base.

WYM Legal is also the respective legal practice for When You Move, the online tool which aims to create a connected journey for the client.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Rob stated: “It is an enormously exciting opportunity to head up the legal operations at WYM Legal, particularly with industry-wide change afoot through the government’s Call for Evidence. At WYM Legal we pride ourselves on being an innovative, technology-driven law firm, and we will place ourselves at the heart of revolutionising the conveyancing industry for the modern age. In the coming weeks and months, we will continue to grow our operations and work with a diverse range of clients and introducers. We will expand our technology further and lead the way in developing new and innovative models for serving our customers.”
