National Accident Helpline acquire company behind Fridaysmove

The NAHL Group, owners of the National Accident Helpline, have confirmed this week they have paid out £4.3 million for the acquisition of Fitzalan Partners, the marketing company behind solicitor network, Fridaysmove.

The total sum is comprised of £3 million up front, and a further £1.3 million which will be transferred before the end of the year. The second payment is, however, subject to set terms being met. Though these conditions have yet to be formally announced.

Fitzalan Partners utilise technology to generate leads for conveyancing firms across the UK. Their annual profit for 2013-14 was reportedly £700,000. The company’s success means this recent acquisition is set to bring immediate gains for NAHL.

Chief Executive of NAHL Group, Russell Atkinson, comments: “The acquisition offers NAHL the opportunity to extend its reach into the conveyancing market and utilise its competitive advantage and skill set from the PI market to take advantage of the significant growth opportunities already identified.

“Fitzalan has a strong operating model and is complementary to the core NAHL model. We look forward to the contribution it will make to the wider group and welcoming the team to NAHL.”
