Conveyancers to get update on software suppliers plans to integrate with Veyo
With less than three weeks to go until the SLC Conference in Derby on 12th November, the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) and Bold Legal Group (BLG) have invited the Legal Software Suppliers Association (LSSA) to provide an update on their plans for working with Legal Practice Technologies on the new Veyo system. Glyn Morris the Chairman of the LSSA will speak at the conference and then participate in a panel session with Sheila Kumar the CEO of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), Des Hudson and Elliott Vigar from Veyo, Simon Law the Chairman of the SLC and Rob Hailstone from BLG.
The launch of Veyo is now underway and many conveyancers are unsure how their present case management systems might fit with Veyo and what their options might be going forward. The SLC and BLG decided the Conference in Derby would provide a good opportunity for trying to gain some clarity on this issue for delegates.
Simon Law from the SLC said "These are very interesting, even exciting, times for conveyancers and the launch of Veyo has created a great deal of discussion amongst the legal profession on how it might improve the home buying process. The launch has also given rise to a degree of uncertainty amongst conveyancers on what Veyo might mean for their existing processes and systems, and whether it fits with their current way of working. We are delighted that the Conference will provide an opportunity for both Veyo and the existing suppliers to hopefully provide some greater clarity for delegates."
Rob Hailstone from BLG added "Our members are extremely interested in the ever changing technological landscape shaping the future of conveyancing and the Derby Conference provides a unique opportunity to hear first-hand what existing and new system providers are planning for the profession."
