Legal & General Conveyancing Service Launched

Legal & General Mortgage Club, have today made the announcement that they are to expand their Conveyancing Service offering with the launch of Legal & General Conveyancing Services. The launch sees the service offering two conveyancing options both of which can provide a bespoke solution to brokers for all of their conveyancing needs.

Legal & General Solutions which is supported by BM Conveyancing and powered by the heavyweight parent of eConveyancer; ULS Technology PLC, will be offered alongside Premier Property Lawyers.

Phil Rickards, Head of BM Solutions states:

“I am delighted that we have been able to join forces with Legal & General in what clearly represents an exciting development for our respective conveyancing businesses. Legal & General Solutions will continue to provide brokers and consumers with access to our award winning service, supported by our field and telephony based BDM teams.”

Greater choice and flexibility:

A result of the partnership is that brokers will be able to access support from two leading conveyancers ensuring greater choice and flexibility for them and their clients. This will ensure that Legal & General brokers will be able to ensure that they can meet their client’s individual needs and provide a personal and tailor made conveyancing service.

The two options will each provide:

  • A ‘no completion, no legal fee guarantee’ – thus should an instruction not complete, no legal fees will be charged.
  • A service which is digitally optimised – online case tracking and quotation tools which mean both brokers and clients are kept informed.
  • Seven-day helpdesk assistance which is open in the evenings also.
  • A dedicated conveyancer as sole point of contact from start to finish – single point case management.

More than 200 solicitor firms to choose from:

A nationwide panel of more than 200 solicitor firms will be available to brokers by virtue of their engagement with Legal & General Solutions. This will allow brokers to compare the options based on price, location and rating.

Jeremy Duncombe, Director, Legal & General Mortgage club said “We are delighted to be partnering with two of the UK’s leading conveyancing providers to create Legal & General Conveyancing Services. ULS complements our strategic partnership with Premier Property Lawyers which is good news for brokers and consumers alike, as it expands the choices available to provide a more tailored approach to conveyancing.

“It is vital that brokers look to differentiate the services they provide, and we now hope to see even more advisers choosing to diversify their proposition. Whether it is conveyancing, second charges or protection, brokers can make themselves an indispensable part of the house buying or re-mortgaging transaction by offering customers a holistic service.”

These panel providers will be reviewed and regularly monitored under rigorous service standards to ensure peace of mind for consumers. Alternatively, by choosing Premier Property Lawyers, brokers will work directly with one of the UK’s leading national law firms, which conducts nationwide conveyancing, providing their customer with award winning technology and an expert service which is consistently priced regardless of location.

Mark Snape, Corporate Distribution Director for Premier Property Lawyers comments:

“We are proud to be working in partnership with Legal & General to offer its brokers an award-winning conveyancing service. We are committed to revolutionising the customer experience of conveyancing and working with others in the industry to ensure clients have a seamless and stress-free home-move.

Our award-winning service and technological solution can dovetail the services provided by Legal & General to provide a powerful proposition for brokers and their customers.
