Land Registry publish dataset inventory

The Land Registry has published a comprehensive list of the electronic datasets they hold.

The dataset inventory allows developers, companies and charities to identify datasets that can be released, which may present an opportunity to create value through reuse and interpretation.

Some datasets are chargeable whilst others are available at no cost.

Malcolm Dawson, Chief Land Registrar and Chief Executive said: "Creating and publishing an inventory of the data that we hold and are able to licence is an important step towards maximising awareness, accessibility and reuse of our data.

“I am delighted that through this initiative we are continuing to support open data and transparency as a driver of economic growth."

Andrew Trigg, leader of Land Registry’s Data Programme sais: "We are really pleased to be publishing the dataset inventory so early in this financial year and we also plan to release a further two free datasets in 2013/14.

“This data will add to the datasets we have already made freely available such as Price Paid data and Transaction data, under the Open Government Licence."
