The Invasive Non Native Specialists Association (INNSA) is holding its annual conference in Manchester on 24th March.
The Infrastructure Act which hit the statute books last month places legal obligations on property owners with invasive species, including Japanese Knotweed, on their land. This will clearly impact on the home buying and selling process and with remediation costs running to several thousand pounds there are potential implications for conveyancing lawyers.
There will be a full briefing on the new Act of Parliament at the Conference as well as views from the RICS, the Building Societies Association and from Simon Law, Chairman of the SLC on what it means for property professionals.
The new INNSA Code of Practice will also be launched at the Event and will be the quality mark which property owners and professionals can rely on when remediating invasive species such as Japanese Knotweed.
