Former BHP managers break away to found new practice

Four former members of staff from BHP Law have left to found a new legal firm.

Former BHP Partner Sally Hare is joined by Keith Ahmed (former Head of Finance at BHP Law), Claire Hewitt (former Business Development manager) and Jo Anderson (formerly an Associate Solicitor).

The new firm, Core Legal, has opened up at Preston Farm Business Park in Stockton.

Sally said: “We’re naturally delighted with the support our clients and referrers have shown us.

“We’re all working with the same aim and that is to drive the business forward and to grow our business here in Teesside, creating new jobs and delivering first choice legal services to our clients.”

The four believe they can expand their new venture quickly over the next few years.

Marketing director Claire Hewitt said: “The property market is moving fast. Processes are becoming more streamlined and there are exciting, new advances in technology all the time.

“We’re keen to be part of those changes and are already working with a number of providers to be able to offer our clients a better experience when buying and selling their property.”
