You are invited to the Derby Property Lawyers Association AGM on Monday 6th February 2012.
Joanne Jones of the Association emailed us saying "The Derby Property Lawyers Association is just a small group we have. There are just 8 of us on the committee and we try to meet every month just to update each other and put on CPD presentations for the local area."
The Annual General meeting is due to be held at The Spot Conference Centre 73 Sacheveral Street, Derby, DE1 2JR starting at 5.30 pm. All local conveyancers are encouraged to attend and work together to face the challenges of conveyancing work.
After the AGM Chris Mills, Acting Land Registrar will present on “Notices”.
Attendees will be entitled to one hour CPD.
So if you are a conveyancer in or around Derby please reply ASAP by e-mail or post to confirm your place. The cost is £15 for members and £30 for non members.

Joanne also said "We are always looking for new ideas for presentations. Again a lot of the speakers we have do not make a charge but obviously try to raise their profile e.g. Landmark, Severn Trent etc We are not worried about this provided the presentation is factual and not all about advertising (which in fairness it’s not usually)."
