A stark warning for Conveyancers

The following is a tweet from the account of Clifford Johnston & Co Solicitors, @CJSolicitors: “Fraudsters are using our name in conveyancing transactions in Liverpool. If you are in any doubt, contact us immediately by telephone.”
We have spoken with the firm today and they confirmed that fraudsters had indeed been using their name in conveyancing transactions, we hope to interview the firm next week.
This is something that all conveyancers need to be aware of.  Although the firm deal with residential conveyancing they largely specialise in criminal defence, wills and probate and road traffic law.
