Veyo launches consumer campaign to promote benefit of online conveyancing portal

With the launch of the comprehensive conveyancing portal approaching, Veyo has begun its marketing and communications campaign to the home-buying market.

The campaign kicked off with a Veyo banner prominently displayed at the Millennium Stadium for the Six Nations rugby union match between England and Wales last Friday.

Veyo, the joint venture between The Law Society and Mastek UK, a global IT solutions specialist, will offer substantial benefits to all those involved in the home buying process. When fully operational, the online portal will bring together all the conveyancing processes, checks and documentation preparation on to one platform. It will, for example, enable home buyers and estate agents to track the conveyancing progress of their sale or purchase, as well as the status of transactions in the entire property chain via the “Chain View” feature.

The secure area on the portal will greatly improve the transparency of the process, reducing the need or urge for home buyers to chase estate agents and conveyancers for updates.

Veyo will allow professionals to better communicate with each other, clients and other parties, satisfy due diligence obligations more quickly and facilitate the conveyance of residential property through established Law Society endorsed protocols. In doing so, it will not only speed up the house-buying process for consumers but enable greater efficiency for conveyancers,estate agents, panel managers and lenders therefore providing a significant saving to business costs in terms of time spent on each transaction. Home buyers and professionals will also be reassured by a service that offers exemplary security.
