Today’s Training: A Comprehensive Guide To Unregistered Conveyancing

Next month, Today’s Training will be hosting four webinars over consecutive week covering the conveyancing process regarding unregistered land, which is ideal for conveyancers who require a refresher on unregistered land.

The course is also suitable for newly qualified staff who are unfamiliar with the process. The course counts towards your continuing competence, and costs £100 +VAT for the four sessions.

Kelly McDonnell, the Chairman of the Midlands Branch of Women in Property has over 20 years’ experience in the conveyancing sector and Jonathan Ritson a conveyancing solicitor with over 25 years’ experience, will talk delegates through:

Jen is the Senior Media Officer for Today’s Conveyancer, Today’s Wills & Probate  and Today’s Family Lawyer. Having gained a degree in Multimedia Computing, Jen fell into a content role after successfully applying for a job at Cheshire Police. During her 6-year service, she took on the role as personal Press Officer under the first Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire and worked in the busy press office for the force.   • This does not address the basic problem that the reserved matters scheme cons clients into thinking that any solicitor or conveyancer has the aptitude to handle unregistered conveyancing even if they have no knowledge of it.

    Voluntary registration should be required before any unregistered property can be marketed.

    Don’t feel sorry for the owners. They have had since 1862 to carry out the process and should no longer be allowed to impose the complications of their failure on those in chains
