Changes to social distancing rules in the UK could have a positive impact on businesses, as everyone attempts to get back to ‘normal’ following the coronavirus pandemic.
The Government have announced today, that although social distancing needs to continue, the space between people will reduce from 2 meters to 1 meter plus on 4 July 2020.
Addressing the House of Commons, PM Boris Johnson said:
“We can now go further and safely ease the lockdown in England.
“At every stage, caution will remain our watch word. Each step will be conditional and reversible.”
Although this has been great news for the hospitality industry, it can also have positive repercussions for other businesses, including conveyancing. As the reduction in social distancing means organisations can potentially bring more people back into the office and maintain their safety.
