Marketing for conveyancers

Moving With the Times a success

The Moving With the Times conference held on 7th September at Barcelo Hinkley Island was well attended and, according to feedback, a great day which was full of useful information.
The conference would not have been possible without the generosity of all of our speakers and Today’s Conveyancer wish to extend a big thank you to Brian Rogers of Riliance, Harry Hill of In-Deed, Mark Jarvis of Severn Trent Retail and Utility Services, Steve Ray of Windsor Partners, Jennifer Bourne from the CML, Dan Montagnani of Groundsure, Eddie Goldsmith of The Conveyancing Association and Goldsmith Williams, Des Hudson the Chief Executive of the Law Society and, last but by no means least, Victor Olowe from the Council of Licensed Conveyancers.
The conference has also only been possible with the help and support of our very generous sponsors:
OneSearch Direct
Conveyancing Liability Solutions (CLS)
Stewart Title Ltd
Groundsure
Eclipse Legal Systems
Clear
ETSOS
Riliance
Jet Convey
Smartlegal.it
We would also like to thank all of the delegates who attended and made the day possible.  We have received very positive feedback about the conference with 89 per cent of the delegates confirming that they would attend further conferences and also recommend a further conference to others and 86 per cent told us that the conference material was good or excellent.  Watch this space for further conference announcements.
Delegates of the conference particularly enjoyed Harry Hill’s observations on the changes that the conveyancing market faces, compared with the large changes faced by Estate Agents in the late 80s.
We also had a chance to see Des Hudson and Victor Olowe share a stage for a constructive discussion on each of their organisations’ plans to help conveyancers.
The evening dinner was a chance to network and also a chance to show some consideration to those less fortunate than we are.  We are pleased to announce that the guests at the evening dinner raised in excess of £750.00 for Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity.
We will, over the coming weeks, be adding articles to Today’s Conveyancer giving further details of the day’s events and, for those that were unable to attend the conference, we hope to be adding details of the presentations in the form of slides and recordings from the day.
Today’s Conveyancer, bringing you the latest conveyancing news and updates.
