Mortgage broker to launch new conveyancing service with eConveyancer
ULS Technology, the owner of the eConveyancer platform have announced mortgage broker John Charcol will be launching a new conveyancing service using their eConveyancer platform.
The new venture will be named John Charcol Legal. Shares in the AIM-listed ULS were up 1.5% after the news was announced.
ULS Chief Executive Ben Thompson said: “John Charcol has given ULS the opportunity to grow something special for them that can really make a difference to the overall experience that their advisers’ mortgage customers receive, and I’m excited that ULS has been awarded this opportunity,”
John Charcol were established in 1974 and handled £2 billion worth of mortgages in 2014 and 2015.
Sales Director Peter Williams said: “The John Charcol customer ethos has always been about securing the best possible products and services for our customers, and this is why we have launched this new legal service in collaboration with ULS. John Charcol Legal will help us ensure that our clients receive best value and overall customer experience.”
The new service comprises a panel of selected Law Firms to provide fully national coverage across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
John Charcol’s mortgage brokers, who operate both on the phone and face to face will compare the panel to select the best conveyancing firm for their client based upon their service rating, price and location. The panel, which is made up of ten selected Law Firms, will have a new, tailored service rating that defines a strict minimum standard of customer satisfaction and service. Any participating Law firm whose rating falls below the expected level will be automatically replaced by another firm.
