Law Society consultation on Con29 and Con290 forms

The Law Society has announced that consultation will be open until the 1 August 2013 on proposed amendments to Con29 and Con29O enquiry forms.

A mixture of new issues to deal with, such as the Green Deal and assets of community value, combined with recent legislative changes has led to the need for updated forms.

After initial negotiations about the proposed changes with the Local Land Charges Institute and the Local Government Association draft revised forms have been produced.

The Law Society is keen to hear the views of conveyancers on the proposed changes to the forms.

Anyone wishing to respond can do so online, by emailing the form to property@lawsociety.org.uk or printing the completed form and sending it to: Jane McCormack, Questions for New Con29/Con29O consultation, Legal Policy Directorate, The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1PL, DX 56 London/Chancery Lane.
