Last chance – SLC road shows
A limited number of spaces are still available for the SLC regional road shows.
They start in a few days and will provide delegates with access to a range of industry updates. Each delegate will also receive four CPD points.
The regional events, which are free to SLC members, have been tailored to meet the specific needs of those within the conveyancing profession.
Topics to be covered will range from the recent adoption of private sewers and its implications, to the Search Code and issues relating to lenders’ panels.
Representatives from each of the water companies that supply the areas where the events will take place have been confirmed as speakers.
They will present to attendees alongside Stephen Desmond, a well-respected speaker in this arena, having presented at over 600 CPD events and representatives from the Council of Property Search Organisations (CoPSO).
John Clay, Chairman of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC), commented: “We’ve had a good response to the regional events, which will be taking place across the country over the next few weeks.
“As well as providing useful advice and guidance across a number of topics relevant to our profession, they also offer a great opportunity to network and to share thoughts and ideas with the wider conveyancing community.“
The road shows sponsored by ETSOS, STL and PSG will run from 2pm to 6pm.
Attendance for SLC members is free.
Licensed Conveyancers that are not members will be charged £50 per person (refundable for those that join the SLC at the event). For non-Licensed Conveyancers, there will be a cost per head of £50.
