HMLR Practice Guide updates: PG6 and PG19

HM Land Registry has published details of changes to Practice Guides 6 and 19.

Devolution on the death of a registered proprietor (PG6)

This guide sets out the evidence required for applications relating to the death of a registered proprietor and deals with registered estates only.

Change made: section 2.2 has been amended to add guidance on limited grants of administration and details of the certificate required in those situations.

Notices, restrictions and protection of third-party interests (PG19)

Change made: section 3.5.1 has been amended to inform customers how to make clear the priority order of applications where an application to register a restriction is made at the same time as other applications. This helps to avoid any unnecessary requisitions for consents to the other applications accompanying the restriction.
