Green Deal progess report
According to the latest figures from the Department of Energy and Climate Change over 9,000 Green Deal (GD) assessments have been lodged since the scheme launched in January.
The Green Deal (GD) was launched on 28 January 2013 in England and Wales (and on 25 February in Scotland) will the intention of taking away barriers to the take-up of energy efficiency measures.
Customers who have Green Deal Assessments undertaken have the choice of how they proceed.
So far 9,268 Green Deal assessments had been lodged to date, the figure was 1,803 at end of February.
There are now 108 Green Deal Assessor Organisations and 1,003 Green Deal accredited.
The figures were 77 and 618 at end February respectively.

The cost of these improvements will remain with the property even if the people taking the Green Deal sell the property.
