Firm has flying start to 2017 with new office openings

Having just opened two new offices in January, leading Leeds firm Ison Harrison has got 2017 off to a positive start.

Located in Pudsey in Huddersfield, the opening of the new offices comes after a successful 2016 and expand the firm’s existing network across Leeds and West Yorkshire to twelve branches.

Heading up Ison Harrison’s Huddersfield office is James Smith, the firm’s Head of Residential Conveyancing and Remortgages. He joined the firm three years ago and is moving to the head office from the city centre.

The new Pudsey office will be managed by experienced residential conveyancer, David Holah. When taking up his new post, David will similarly move from Ison’s head office. The appointments demonstrate the firm’s culture of encouraging progression internally.

Established in Leeds in 1978, Ison Harrison has a reputation for enabling legal services to be accessed easily at a local level, something that the new offices will contribute to.

Commenting on the changes was Jonathan Wearing. The Managing Partner at Ison Harrison stated: “This is a great way to begin 2017 and we intend to build on this growth throughout the year. We’ve got great teams with vast expertise and talent in place to ensure both new offices will be a resounding success, and with twelve branches active we’re delighted to have such a big footprint now across the region.

“We strongly believe it is important to have a physical presence on the high street as not only does this makes us extremely accessible to a wide variety of clients but also helps us remain engaged with clients and the communities we operate in. From past experience we know just how important accessibility and visibility are valued by both commercial and private clients.”

The new practices will offer both business and private clients a full range of legal services, spanning from family and probate matters to commercial and personal injury matters.
