Feel Good Friday: Aconveyancing

There have been lots of positive things happening across the sector this week, so we wanted to share these good vibes with you as part of our ‘Feel Good Friday’ news items.

Here is a little snap shot of what’s been going on.

Aconveyancing achieve Cyber Essentials accreditation

Aconveyancing is proud to have been awarded the Cyber Essentials accreditation, the following an assessment of their systems and procedures. This means that Aconveyancing clients can be confident that their data is secure and protected against cyber attacks.

The information security standard, Cyber Essentials, is a Government backed, industry supported scheme which helps organisations protect themselves against common online threats and cyber attacks. Achieving Cyber Essentials certification verifies that the Midlands and Staffordshire firm is compliant and actively monitoring the security of their IT systems to ensure that all data and documentation is kept digitally safe from cyber attacks and threats.

Over last year, Aconveyancing took part in a series of tests to provide verification of  their systems and processes, which they have now passed.

Company Director, Natalie Moore says:

“To offer our clients the high level of service we expect, we have to be confident that we are keeping their data safe.  We have worked hard to achieve the highest certification status of Cyber Essential Plus and are proud to communicate this to our clients. To be Cyber Essentials Plus verified is great news not only for Aconveyancing but for our industry as a whole, we are leading the way in demonstrating that safety and security of data is at the heart of what we do.”

Melissa Pinson, Cyber Security Administrator, and Cyber Essentials Assessor at Lawyer Checker, said:

“The Cyber Essentials certification offers reassurance and peace of mind that you are protected against the most common cyber-attacks. Aconveyancing have demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring the required controls are in place to protect themselves and their clients, it is great to see a firm take the basics of cyber hygiene seriously!”
