Dorset firm appoints new head of conveyancing

A new head of conveyancing has been appointed at a Dorset law firm.

Gales has selected Jodi Halkier to head up its conveyancing team at its Bournemouth based office.

Formerly, Jodi ran her own legal practice in South Africa before relocating to Europe during 2011. She went on to work in Majorca for six years prior to moving to Bournemouth.

Commenting on her new role, Jodi said: “I am really enjoying working in the relaxed and friendly environment at Gales Solicitors.

“I work with an incredibly diverse mix of commercial and residential clients and I love the atmosphere within the team.”

The firm also has another new appointment in the form of conveyancing executive, Wingwai Tam and family lawyer, Lucian Sandu.

Partner at the firm, Matthew Moore stated: “We are delighted to welcome our new staff. They are a very welcome addition to our close-knit team.

“Gales have been attracting lots of new clients across the area and it was essential that we looked to expand our team. We are looking forward to a busy and successful 2018.”
