Countrywide crowned “conveyancing business leader” at British Mortgage Awards

The British Mortgage Awards saw industry leaders crown  Sue Spurgeon, Countrywide Conveyancing Services’ Chief Operating Officer, “Conveyancing Business Leader 2012” at a ceremony yesterday, according to 4-traders.
Sue’s award is recognition for her “instrumental role” in implementing and developing new systems, team motivation and a reorganisation of processes, all of which have enabled Countrywide to achieve further business success.
A sure sign that the company has provided the marketplace with the innovation and experience required is the number of major industry contracts secured from lenders in the last year.
Sue, commenting on the award, said:
“I am delighted and proud to accept this prestigious award from industry peers on behalf of myself and the dedicated Conveyancing team at Countrywide. We will continue to do what we do best; driving innovation through investment in our technologies and processes, in order to set the standard for industry best practice and deliver excellent services to our customers”.
Sue has been a part of the Countrywide team since 2004 when she joined as a Conveyancing Centre Manager and progressed to Operations Director and then Chief Operating Officer.
Managing Director, Alyn North, said:
"Sue is committed to driving positive change for the Conveyancing division. She excels at keeping staff motivated, whilst also delivering superior business performance. Her passion for championing the customer position has shaped our strategy and helped Countrywide find new ways of enhancing our capabilities and services".
