CLS Group sells Future Climate Info Ltd (FCI)

CLS Group (“CLS”), a leading provider of data, technology and insurance services to the UK property sector, can confirm the sale of its title, chancel and ancillary search services from CLS Property Insight to Future Climate Info Ltd (“FCI”) on 17th May 2021.

In addition, on 17th May 2021, FCI was acquired by Dye &Durham Ltd (“Dye &Durham”).

CLS will continue to work closely with partners across the whole of the property lifecycle, with ongoing investment in its data and technology services as well as growth of the Legal Indemnity and Estate Administration business.

Tom O’Connor, CEO CLS Group, says:

“For over 16 years, CLS has worked in the property data world creating value for our customers. In that time we have constantly sought out opportunities for growth and innovation, across all parts of our group. With the sale of FCI, and the search component of CLS Property Insight, we will be able to continue investing in our innovation programme to significantly change the way property transactions take place across the UK. We have a wealth of data and an incredible team of technical experts who are already helping banks, lenders and insurers rethink how they manage their businesses. We’re excited to continue on this journey of bringing positive change to the future of real estate in the UK.”

Matthew LeBreton, founder CLS Group, says:

“For CLS, this transaction represents years of exceptional work in building a successful searches business, which has been clearly recognised by Dye & Durham. I’m incredibly proud of the team at FCI, and whilst it will be sad to see them move to Dye & Durham, I know they will have an equally exciting future ahead of them in the new business and we wish them the very best.”
