Canadian firm buys controlling stake in Easy Convey

A Canadian electronic conveyance firm has bought a 51% stake in Guildford based legal software firm Easy Convey.

Vancouver based One Move Technologies claim to offer the largest conveyancing platform in Western Canada in econveyance.com. The firm is four years younger than their new British purchase but say they intend to make a “substantial investment” in Easy Convey.

Matthew W. Proud President and CEO of OneMove said: “Easy Convey represents an attractive investment that is very much ‘on strategy’ with our growth focus. Furthermore, this is also an important acquisition for OneMove as it demonstrates our ability to expand internationally”.

CFO of OneMove Ronnie Wahl said: “Given our combined experience in providing conveyancing software applications and delivering exceptional customer service, we are excited about the prospect of this transaction.”

Dominic Cullis, Managing Director of Easy Convey said: “I am delighted that having built a relationship with OneMove dating back to 2004, we are now able to combine our expertise and bring two leading conveyancing software providers together.  We are looking forward to a new era for Easy Convey which will bring significant benefit to our clients”
