British Conveyancing Awards Sponsor Spotlight: inCase

In a series of Spotlight pieces, we are thrilled to introduce our supporters of The British Conveyancing Awards 2021

Alongside headline sponsor Lawyer Checker, we look forward to recognising individuals, teams and companies who have gone above and beyond to support buyers and sellers to move home during the most challenging year the conveyancing industry has perhaps ever seen.

Today we profile Mental Health and Wellbeing Conveyancing Firm of the Year sponsors inCase.

We’re delighted to have inCase on board with us for the inaugural British Conveyancing Awards. First of all, tell us who you are and what you do

inCase are an “award-winning” mobile applications and software management company specialising in solutions for legal professionals. We are a business dedicated to making continuous improvements within the legal industry by using the latest pioneering technology.

inCase™ is the first mobile app dedicated to helping law firms improve communication with clients.

What have inCase been doing over the past 12 months? I imagine it’s been a busy time working through a pandemic.

The pandemic has undoubtedly accelerated the need for technology in the legal sector. As a business this has put us at the forefront of firms minds as they have been assessing their current processes and updating their communication systems to cope with client demand.

In the past 12 months, inCase has seen private investment, doubled in size, and recruited a number of talented team members to support the business.

What do you think is the biggest challenge the sector has faced over the last 12 months?

The importance of legal-tech has been drastically highlighted in the past year – suddenly many firms found themselves working from home and confronted with increasing communication challenges. As many firms are now out of the office, a challenge we had to overcome ourselves as a business is how to tailor our face-to-face demonstration to work digitally over video calls.

And what innovations were you seeing in the market?

The legal market has positively embraced upgrading its tech over the past year. It’s been fantastic
to be part of this ground-breaking transition and support firms in transforming their communication services and processes.

What are your predictions for the sector in 2022 and beyond?

The pandemic has opened the eyes of legal professionals to the technology that is now available to them, not just to make their lives easier, but to make the whole communication process more streamlined and informed for the client. At inCase we are constantly developing our product to support our clients with the most innovative mobile app features. We are launching our Conference Video Calling feature this year to bring that face-to-face rapport back to firms and their clients.

Have you got any messages for the sector and our shortlisters?

inCase would like to wish all entrants luck at the BCA. The British Conveyancing Awards is a great opportunity to celebrate the successes of the industry after working through such a pressured and difficult time.

Thank you to inCase for their support for The British Conveyancing Awards 2021.

The British Conveyancing Awards are taking to the virtual stage on Tuesday 25th May 2021 with the multi-award winning journalist and broadcaster Samira Ahmed leading the celebrations.
