Over 500 people watched the ceremony live, with many sharing their photos of their Covid-secure office parties, the glitz and glamour of celebrating at home with loved ones and pets, raising a glass and celebrating the industry coming together.

Tom Lyes, Director of Engagement from Today’s Media, said:

“We have been overwhelmed by the industry’s positive response to the awards. People really seem to have warmed to the concept of celebrating the success of both teams and individuals. The high quality of entries that we have received show just how resilient the market is.

“I want to say a huge congratulations to all of those who entered the awards and a special well done to those who won and were highly commended in their category. These awards were for all of you. At a time when we’re asking people to be kind and considerate to one another, these awards are just the cherry on top, and a nice way to remind us all to be kind.”

Chris Harris, CEO of Lawyer Checker, said:

“It has been heart-warming to see how the industry has come together to celebrate the hard work, dedication and resilience conveyancers and property professionals have shown over the past 14 months, especially during these unprecedented times. It has been a trying time for all, both personally and professionally. I want to give special recognition to all award winners, not forgetting those who entered and joined us at the awards, keeping the industry strong.”

Kevin Smith, Chief Operations Officer at Simplify, said:

“After what has been such a challenging year, the whole conveyancing industry has been magnificent in keeping the housing market moving in extremely challenging conditions. I am proud of how Conveyancers have pulled together in the way that they have over the last year. The British Conveyancing Awards brought together our industry to celebrate our successes and to highlight the fantastic work being done to make the process easier and smoother for British homeowners. I’d like to congratulate all of the winners on behalf of Simplify.”

It’s important for us to also say a huge well done to those firms and individuals who were highly commended at this year’s awards. They are:
