The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) has announced today that Baroness Hayter will be the lead speaker at the SLC Conference which will be staged this year in association with the Bold Legal Group on 12th November at the Riverside Centre in Derby.
Simon Law the Chairman of the SLC said "The Society is delighted to announce that Baroness Dianne Hayter, Shadow Consumer Affairs Minister in the House of Lords, will be the lead speaker at the Annual Conference in November. Baroness Hayter was Chair of the Legal Services Consumer Panel for many years and has a unique perspective on the interaction between lawyers and their clients."
The Conference agenda is varied and highly topical and Paul Lewis, the presenter of BBC’s Money Box programme will once again host the day. The conference is a great opportunity to catch up with the latest developments in the world of conveyancing, network with fellow professionals, ask questions and express views.

The conference will be preceded the evening before by an informal dinner at which the internationally renowned Dominic Brittain will speak.
