Challenger brand partners with conveyancing panel management specialists

LMS has been selected by Tesco Bank to be their integrated conveyancing partner.

As well as the provider’s extensive expertise, Tesco Bank stated that LMS’s proven track record and ability to deliver for all key stakeholders meant the provider was a natural choice.

As part of the partnership, LMS will provide Tesco Bank with fees assisted remortgages as well as general panel management, with the latter being delivered through Panel Link® – its own dedicated service. This enables access to an open and secure panel of law firms.

Aiming to simplify banking and bring better value to customers, Tesco Bank is a key challenger brand within the UK. At the 2016 Moneyfacts Awards, it recently won the awards for Best Mortgage Provider and best First-time Mortgage Provider. The bank was also named Best Variable Rate Mortgage Provider at the 2016 Personal Finance Awards.

Commenting on the partnership was Andy Knee, Chief Executive of LMS. He stated: “We are delighted to provide both our customer products and Panel Link® services to Tesco Bank, their customers and their mortgage intermediaries. Tesco Bank is an exciting challenger brand who is fully committed to offering their customers the highest possible level of service, while also offering attractive products. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with them.”

Also commenting was Managing Director at Tesco Bank, David McCreadie who explained his reasoning behind the partnership with LMS.

“Tesco Bank has been in the mortgage market for nearly five years and in the intermediary market since April 2016. Throughout, we have focussed relentlessly on improving the service that we provide. As LMS is able to provide us with a high quality and complete service that will allow us to meet and exceed the needs of our customers and intermediaries, they were a natural choice to help us offer a high level of service to customers.”
