SearchFlow, the UK’s leading information and data provider for the property transaction market, has released a new set of dates in September and October for its major CPD seminar programme.
Building on the success of previous seminars, this new campaign adds topics to focus on the environmental impacts of new energy sources such as fracking, and will have an update on title and chancel insurance issues.
Perran Moon, marketing director of SearchFlow said: "These seminars show how important it is for conveyancers and property lawyers to understand the specific risks associated with property transactions in their local area.

The informal seminars will feature property industry experts from SearchFlow, Legal Eye, Landmark, GroundSure and DevAssist who will provide insights on local issues surrounding conveyancing, boundary plotting and practice risk management.
Each session is tailored to the region in which it is held and will identify key property search risks in the area, along with essential risk management and compliance updates for legal firms.
Topics covered in the seminar include:
– Environmental risks due to contaminated land
– Fracking – the process by which shale gas is extracted from the ground – and the impact on conveyancer’s due diligence of this controversial new energy source
– Latest implications of flooding and client protection in respective regions
– Essential updates on law firm compliance standards and the role of COLP
– Looking through a developer’s eyes on risks and opportunities in your region
– Avoiding delays and rejections through mapping accuracy.
The seminars will be held throughout the country, starting with Truro on 10th September and ending with York on 31st October, with venues in between including Bath, Birmingham, Manchester, Preston and Sheffield.
These sessions are free, but delegates need to book their place, and all attendees will receive three CPD points and the opportunity to network with other legal professionals in the residential market.
