The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) is delighted to confirm that Anna Bradley the Chair of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) will be the headline speaker at the Society’s CPD event next Saturday 8th March in Brentwood. Aside from a general update, Anna will speak about the CLC’s proposals to extend their regulatory envelope to include property litigation.
The SLC CPD event format is to focus on topical events and the agenda for Brentwood reflects that by including sessions on the Government’s Help to Buy scheme which has proved a bit of a nightmare for conveyancers and workplace pensions which most firms will have to address in the next 12 months or so.
Following a successful test last year, the event in Brentwood has been deliberately scheduled for a Saturday (with a 10.00am start) to avoid conveyancers having to bite into their very busy work week to earn CPD points. There are a few spaces left and the SLC welcomes Solicitors and Legal Executives as well as Licensed Conveyancers to its events.
